Make sure to lay the bird seed on flat places that they can get to. Birds will become familiar with areas and will appear to feed on feeders that can be kept full and ready. During the winter months birds cannot thrive on fresh fruits and berries. Homeowners can provide that for them. As one makes sure their birdfeeders are full, and your birds can be fed they will stay around your home during the winter. This will allow them to come back in the spring to nest.
