Creating A Beautiful Garden Border

One can find many items to create a beautiful border for a perennial garden or natural area.  Some of the items will not cost anything to add them around a garden or other area.  Imaginations can go wild when considering items to use.Rocks are a wonderful and natural way to make a wonderful border.  They look amazing when placed around gardens and natural areas.  They also work well around water gardens and also placed randomly on sloped walls.  Rocks can be found just by walking in wooded areas, and this is a very economical way to add that high border.

Bricks are another good way.  They can be slanted and placed on the end and slanted at an angle.  This will provide a great look but may require a little work.  The ends of the bricks will need to be dug into the ground so they will stand freely and not fall over.

There are also stones that can be purchased from home and garden centers.  These stones will come in all shapes and sizes and a homeowner can make the border as short or as tall as needed for garden areas.  They come in a variety of colors to match the bricks or colors of the home. Plant them in a garden, raised bed or flower garden. Home and garden centers also have a strong plastic material that can be placed around gardens and is very easy to put down.  Most of the plastic borders can be hammered into the ground a little bit, and they will stay in place for years. Edging is a way to add that unique touch and personal touch to a garden or natural area.

Borders and edging are a way for a homeowner to add their own style and uniqueness to one's yard. Using materials one may have at home or bought at the store is a great way to make ones area their own.
