Garden Moss Does The Trick In My Swampy Shaded Area

I bought moss for my garden because nothing will hardly grow in the shade and I've found the perfect type. Carpet Moss! look at my garden. I've also put the link of where I bought it at too. they ship and prices are affordable. This is a wholesale nursery grower. They are in Tennessee but are licensed to ship to all states. And talk about quality plants, they have them. I simply scratched the dirt and layed my moss pads they shipped me down and sprinkled water over them and they attached within a week to the soil and one has grown over 4 inches in less than 6 weeks! Im so excited I figured I'd give them a review in hopes of some more moss at a discount :) Well, It never hurts to try.
I have a landscaper that keeps my lawn and plants looking great. No, I didn't do all this work in the pics myself but I did do the carpet moss. Im proud of my garden and Im sure Garden Delights is too :)

Mosses, unlike most garden plants, lack true roots

Without an extensive root system, most mosses rely on damp conditions to ensure they thrive. However, this also means they are built to pull all the nutrients they need from the sunlight, air, and surface soil. They do not require deep watering or heavy fertilization. Once established, they are easy to care for. There are two primary ways to plant moss in your garden. The first involves planting them sheets or clumps. Lightly rake or scratch the surface of your garden and water it well. Consider adding something to retain moisture, such as water gel crystals. Lay your mosses on top of the soil and water or mist lightly. This misting may need to be repeated daily for several weeks, but once the mosses are established, they will tolerate drier conditions. They have runner roots and you simply scratch the soils surface and lay the pads down and water. They are easy to grow, hardy in most zones and provides a beautiful backdrop to Mother Nature's creations in the shade.

To cover rocks or walls, consider this unconventional method. Handfuls of moss can be blended with buttermilk or yogurt, plus water, sugar, and other additives. The resulting liquid can be painted or sprayed onto the target surface. Mist lightly daily, and soon your mosses will begin to flourish. This method allows you some extra creativity.
